How do you like it so far? Spool like stocker? Also would u know what hp gains are possible to achieve just by adding this turbo and obvisously rob reworking my tunes

I love it. I like the way my truck drives better now than it did with the stocker. Spool really isn't bad at all. It takes a long time to spool if you try to roll into the throttle at 55-60. But it's nothing a downshift doesn't fix quickly. Right now I'm on stock injectors and a stock cp3 and I'm right at 600 on fuel. Also running robs tunes.

As a true DD anything bigger than a Billet 66/74 will have some trade offs. I have a truck with the 66, stock sticks, stock cp3, modified y, intake and 5" exhaust that flat out runs. He will take my buddy with same setup except stock turbo 45 over sticks and nitrous. I have ran the 71 as a single and it spools very similar to the 66 but there is a difference in part throttle driving characteristics. Driving characteristics of each turbo are relative to the person giving his or her opinions. Just keep that in mind when you make your choice.

I tow several times a week, usually light loads 4-5k and just pulled my camper friday that weighs about 8-9 k and it did great. If you dont tow heavy much you will love a big single, if you tow heavy once a month or so you will be fine you just have to drive in M and keep your eye on egt's.

I think that is a very good choice for a single and if you decide to later compound it a gt 47 or 55 would be wicked. also tripples would be awsome off it as well.
