My buddy is doing a water pump. We snapped or bent breaker bars trying to loosen the 36mm balancer bolt.

I went home and welded the socket to a piece of scrap; 2"x2" with 1/4" wall square stock. He stuck about 4' of cheater bar on it, and gave it all he had. The bolt came right out. He sent me a text a few minutes ago all happy.

Yes, I painted it. I was proud. Lmao. Hahaha

Yep, same here.

I remember the first w/p that I saw done with Merchant years ago. Horrors. Went thru two 1/2" breakers and two 1/2" ratchets....Sears was NOT happy. :roflmao: Went and bought a cheapo 3/4" bb from vatozone and "presto!" -- done. I think Eric still has that bb in his toolbox. :hehe:
