Well, after owning the kit for 3 months, my schedule and the weather finally aligned to allow me to install my Transgo Jr. Kit
First off, working on your back on the semi-gravel driveway and by yourself makes for a pretty long project. Of course, my buddy that I haven't seen in 5 years just happened to stop by right when I was about to pull the valve body, so that cost me 3 beers, er, hours...
All went smooth, and the truck sitting with pan off for 3 hours prolly made the job a little less messy for me anyways.
So, putting the valve body back together, I had a couple of questions that were not addressed in the instructions or on the DP how-to written by GMC2500. Called Mike, he graciously took the time to steer me in the right direction, assembled valve body, buttoned her up, reset TAPS and filled with 13 quarts of fresh Transynd.
About 200 miles on the trans so far, and I have to say, the difference, although subtle, definitely makes this a crisp, nicer shifting trans. It was a worthwhile investment in time
Thanks for your help, Mike. Another happy customer
