GOOD!!!
I have no tolerance for it. If you are going to talk on the phone while you drive. Get an ear piece or pull over. If it becomes to distracting to talk and drive. call them back. If your going to text. GET THE H#LL OFF THE ROAD!!!
I try not to talk on the phone while I drive at all. If I don't have my bluetooth. I only stay on it long enough to tell them I'll call them later. If I answer it. If I have my bluetooth, I will talk(not much different than talking to someone in the passengers seat.). But if it becomes distracting or takes my focus off of driving or off the surroundings on the road. Then I hang up and call them back later. I don't text at all. I receive them. But I don't read them till I'm stopped. It takes to much from your driving. Ok Rant over. Things like this make me mad. Can you tell?

What is the diff from talking on a blue tooth and holding the phone to your ear:confused: Not like my right hand is goone be on the wheel if there weren't a phone in it. I agree there are several people that shouldn't be on the phone while driving....but then again there are tons of people that shouldn't be on the road at all but they are.

I drive about 60,000 miles a year and have far more run ins with elderly and over cautious drivers than people on the phone. You know the ones that slow down for a yellow light but don't stop at it and the ones that do 25 in a 55 in the middle of the night on a back road.

I see this alot. If your going to drive, then drive. Nothing else. It can wait, we just choose not to.

I don't talk and drive and don't dare text and drive. I can't................because i'm driving. It's a law here in washington that you can't talk while driving. I think it's a god idea but you also see everyone still doing it.

So you find it hard to believe that texting doesnt take your mind off driving at all? That texting doesnt require you to look somewhere else than the road? That your primary responsibility when driving is to DRIVE the vehicle?!? Wow.

You have a responsibility to the other people on the road to be in control of your vehicle at all times. Because people no longer use common sense and dont feel the need to be responsible for themselves or their actions any more, we need laws such as this.
