Anyone know the best route to go to temp protect your engine? what materials should you use? I have a heater line that was sitting on a hot pipe; melted a hole through it. any suggestions on good insulating materials?

Summit sells header wrap that is thick fiberglass cloth. There is also a company (sponsor?) that makes custom heat blankets on this site.
