Anybody have any issues with their climate control? Mine seems to work sporadically. I set the air cond on like 74 and it always seems like it's full cold. Even the heat it sometimes takes forever to adjust the temp and sometimes works fine. Likw today i had it on 84 then staryed to get hot so wemt to 80 amd seema like it got hotter then i went to 75 and took like 3 min to change temp but after that say i went back to 80 it went immediately. Hence the sporatic comment

Moved to Stereo and Electronics. Never have had an issue with my Auto HVAC controls on my 03, other than the backlight for the power button burnt out a little while ago.

Could you at least fill out your sig so people know what year truck you're talking about?

The blend air doors are ALOT of trouble for the early trucks. You can pull them apart, clean out the lithium grease, clean the contacts, and put them back together with a dialectric grease to fix the actuators. Takes about 30 minutes an actuator, and saves you the $60 or so a puece for them. Also, make sure the intake vents in your roof for the temp sensors are clean. If those little round vents get covered over, then the control head doesn't know the temp to adjust the doors.

Ok so i have a 04.5 and when i turn the direction of air flow knob nothing happens. I know its the blend doors being clogged with pounds of dust and soot. My question is if i remove the actuators how do i access that compartment to clean out the mini sahara? Do i drill a hole and use a vacum and tubing. Then a rubber plug to seal it? Not sure but it sucks when i turn the system on and it smells like dirt for five minutes. Damn GM for getting rid of cabin air filters.

Where are the blend doors and actuators? I can only find stuff online about older trucks
