Buddy of mine is getting a losing communications with tcm code. Thinking tcm is on the way out and was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy one other than dealer. I have looked at ebay and no luck

What year truck? There are planty on Ebay if you search the part number, but if it's a 6 speed it has to be dealer flashed unless you luck out and find one with a compatible OS in it. Also there is 1 TCM for 5 speeds, but 3 different ones for 6 speeds.
