is there a way to full flash a new tcm without having to buy another liscence ?

i finally got a tcm.... will use the current one for strip only because its already learned , and have a used one i got from rob for D/D i want to full flash to the 01 os tcm tune i had currently in the truck . i wrote a identical tune for the new os just in case but it wont let me flash because of needing to liscence it . i heard some were tcm's dont require a liscence ? i will buy another one if i have to ?

As far as I'm aware you can tune 1 TCM and 1 ECM under the same license.

So it's my understanding you will need a license for the extra TCM.

But, EFILive comes with 2 licenses. Unless you used your 2nd license on another truck you should still have one left.

i have only tuned my truck but for some reason it used both liscences ?
1 on the ecm
and required me to liscence the original tcm as well .

You bought the V2 correct? If so you should still have one license left.

trent, your order was auto processed and the code emailed to you 7 minutes after your order was placed.

If you haven't got your code, let me know and i'll email it to you.

Cheers

IMO 2001 TCM tuning sucks. Its good for the track but on the street I like a tcm that learns smooth shifts and the 01 aint it. I have ran an 01 and 03 tcm back to back and the difference is night and day.

Ive had 01 TCM with different op systems act different.....In the end i like the 01 TCM but i also tow alot and never rigged up a switch for the OD L/O so i use a 03 alot when towing in my 05

The 01 def shifts the best though IMO
