TCM issues

I dont know what the heck is going on with my truck. I shorted out the tcm aboot 2 years ago and ran a ground to it. Truck has been running GREAT since then until the last month when it started being a bitch and not wanting to start, i sometimes loose my gear indicator light and it wont turn over. i unplug the tcm and pug it back in and most of the time it starts but then again it doesnt do this too often but when it does it pisses me off. i put a different tcm in last night now i dont have the gear indicator light and my manual option doesnt work and its got a nasty downshift, which i thought would of been gone by now since ive put aboot 50 miles on it but its still there.



the truck drives and starts fine for now.... but sometimes i think it might be my batteries going out


i dont know ...... all i know is that my LBZ is still better than all those crappy LBZ's,LLY's, and LMM's:D

ha you finally admit it!!!


on a side note (cause you brought me those drugs from across the border), did you reflash the TCM to your stock tune?

reflash wHAT TO WHO??? I WILL TRY THAT. FORGOT THAT THE TCMS ARE PROGRAMMED TO THE VIN STUFF... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.



keep the drug chit on the down low lol

Gonna need a TECH 2 to full flash the TCM. EFILIVE doesn't offer full flashing of the 6 speed A40 and A50 TCM's as it is just to much info to flash in a reasoneable amount of time.

i guess i really dont need the gear indicator light or the M option

easy fix would be a driver mod.

step one: remove Joe from driver seat

step two: give him a screwdriver (drink or tool, doesnt matter) and point him to an LBZ intake

step three: while old driver is distracted, place anyone else in the Nevada realm in the driver seat and problem will be cleared

Tried that....

1. Pretty sure his ass is glued to the seat.

2. Gave him a french porn mag.....distraction successful.

3. Pried his ass out the seat, took for a drive, made official determination that lbz's suck.
Thought i was spinning tire since acceleration was non existant.....nope, they're just that slow
