I have a question. I have the June 2 2012 software update and an Autocal. I ask my tuner for an TCM tune and copied my TCM OS and sent it to him. It has a .ctz extension. My tuner sent me a cal file to upload and it is giving me a "$0536 Tune file not registered to this autocal device". He can't get my file to open but sent me a tune from the same V2 and same OS as mine but still same error. The file he sends is a .ctd extension. Is this a software version difference problem or something else. The .ctd file will not load into the autocal but it will try to load using the efi tune software pass thru with my laptop. I have talked to Dustin and he isn't sure what is wrong so I thought I'd ask here to see if ya'll may have some ideas.

I'm almost positive EFILive is no longer using the .ctd file format. Your tuner should really be figuring this out.

He should be sending you .ctz files, regardless i think the .ctd works... The issue lies in the fact that he did not "save file for remote" flashing... have the tuner update his software, then resend you the file saved for remote flashing. :thumb:

He sent me a ECM tune that was a .ctd and it worked without any problems. That was just a couple of weeks ago. I've had a couple of ECM updates that all worked fine. This is the first that hasn't.

As Kory stated, tune tune needs to be saved for remote flashing. The EFILive Error code list describes your error as

AutoCal devices may only be used to flash tune files that have been specifically created for that AutoCal device. To create a tune file specifically for an AutoCal device, the FlashScan device to which the AutoCal has been registered must be connected to the PC when the tune file is created.
