Well I logged it about 2 months ago and the most slip I saw was about 250, just today it was 716  I knew I was hurting the trans with my mods from the start and I don't care I'm saving up now. I just can't believe its so much worse because I have Co Pilot now.

Is that what you would call a smoked converter or just a slipping one?

It doesn't effect the DD part, just WOT. If I keep it up though, can it get so bad that I won't even be able to drive like a civilized person?

250 rpm slip indicates converter clutch is not even coming on. Suprised it didn't code.

what do you mean 5-speed duty cycle?

please dont say you programmed in the 5-speed duty cycle table into the 6-speed TCM tune...

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I figured that 97 lock up would hold better than 62 in a worn TC. Is it really that big of a problem? I haven't seen anything that would make it seem like it was a bad idea

the 5-speed and 6-speed tcc solenoids are quite different....dont you think there is a reason allison configured the tcc solenoid duty cycle tables completely differently. ;)

you might have burned out the tcc solenoid.

P2758 Torq Conv Clutch Press Ctrl Solenoid Ctrl Circ Stuck On

Well I would start by putting the correct duty cycle back in and seeing what happens.....

I think you really messed up a good portion of it (either the converter, the tcc solenoid, or both) by messing with the tcc duty cycle programming... :(

Hmm well if thats the case so be it. I am saving up for a ppe trans kit now. Like I said its drivable, just not the fastest thing anymore. Anyway to test the solenoid?
