Tc lock up to lock in 4th gear

I have an 2006 duramax it's a puller I launch in 4th gear but tc is not locking can anyone tell me how to make a lock up switch please

Is there anyway to make your own without a controller I just want a toggle switch

I used to have a lockup toggle switch I forgot how to make it but it worked fine.

Sure you can use "just a toggle switch", but you're going to:

-burn out your TCC solenoid (annoying because expensive, $150)

-limp the trans/lose reverse (annoying because then you cant back up at the end of the pull to unhook from the sled)

-set TCC-open-circuit/short-to-ground/stuck-on DTC's if you use your "toggle switch" for more than 2 seconds at a time. (annoying because you have to constantly be clearing codes, some of which will cause unpredictable trans operation because the TCM freezes adapts when these codes are set)

-not have a smooth PWM ramp-up/apply, lockup will be very harsh and could break trans hard parts (annoying because expensive, $ name your price for internal transmission hardware failure)

This isnt a dodge trans we're dealing with. Things arent that simple unfortunately.
