Tapshifter with factory overdrive dash light. Possible?

I am installing a BD tapshifter in my 02 and was wondering if anyone has ran the indicator wire to the light for overdrive indication to the factory dash light instead of using the indicator light in the kit? Thanks for any info

You're thinking of the overdrive lockout light, and there wasnt one from the factory.
