I have a black gauge pod that I'd like to paint tan to match the tan interior. I also have some scratched/ chipped places on the dash Id like to touch up. Anybody know what brand and color matches best? And where to get it? Thanks - Stephen

It's an 03 Sierra

I was able to get "close" by going to a professional auto paint store with my A-post cover in hand. I could NOT find a match, but unless you were looking it was not too noticeable.

Mine was the charcoal interior, not the tan.

Mine was a dif color than what they had...was the Light or neutral Tan or soemthing like that. I still have the can at home, can try and get the color code if you guys need it. Assuming you have the same color.

Its not a perfect match, but it is so close you wouldn't be able to tell unless you knew about it.

It would be nice if it matched correctly, I have a couple places where it peeled off on the dash I'd like to fix.. I wish the truck had black or charcoal interior and I wouldnt have to worry about it!

Anybody have a pic of theirs painted and installed to see how it looks?:thumb:

I can prob get a pic tonight if I remember, or if you are going to Scheids, you can see it there in person.

Oh what I wouldn't give to be there!

But the month of august has consisted of an unexpected funeral 600 miles away, then my sisters wedding and moving her 900 miles away.. Soo too much time off in one month. Scheid trip cancelled :(

If everyone seems to think that the color is a little off, why dont they change their color a bit?

you can tell here it doesn't match but in person its not nearly as noticeable.

Go to a autobody paint store.. PPG/Dupont/Sikkens

Clean it(plastic cleaner/rubbing alcohal),
spray on some Bulldog(plastic adhesive) and get the
correct basecoat(ppg adds hardner to the dbc for interior paint)
