Maximum torque levels based on barometric pressure.
Can someone explain this to me and how its used in tunin.
Thanks Brian

With a stock transmission and stock shift points, it's probably best to leave it alone...With a built unit or modded shift points, adjustments can be made...
I always max it out. I see no reason to leave it stock. Here's an interesting thing to note: the max torque reference never changes as baro goes up or down.
It does work. That table on my stock tune is way different than an LBZ, and it was making it difficult to fuel right.I guess I should test that. I think I did, but I don't remember. Basically set it at 200 max and see if it goes down the road.
I guess it's just differences in tuning style, but I don't see how limiting your torque reference number at a given RPM will benefit anything. It has similar values to B1115...I didn't max out either of those tables when my transmission was stock, but was still able to burn clutches...I suppose you could mod certain tables as long as there was still some torque limiting in your tune...

I'm ASSuming your truck is a LLY???...I don't have a stock tune on my PC to look at...

it acts as a torque limiting to RPM table.
And it DOES work. I've seen how it limits torque reference numbers on my truck.
