T4 to T6 gasket?

I have a turbonetics pedestal mount that has a t4 flange on it. The turbo I am installing has a T6 flange. So I bought a T4-T6 adapter plate. The gasket that I have has the sealing bead going directly over the socket head allen screws that bolt the adapter plate to the T4 pedestal. Seems like this will lead to a leak and/or a poor seal. What are you guys with T4-T6 adapter plates doing for the gasket between the adapter plate and the T6 turbo?

Thanks
Chris

Attached are pics of the adapter plate and the gasket. The sealing band (raised portion on the gasket) goes directly over the countersunk holes on the adapter plate. It doesn't seem like it will seal very well. Any thoughts?

Adpter plate seems to be intended to go on top of t4 flange and I assume plate on reverse side is smooth and will accept t6 gasket:thumb:
