that ammo is about 10-20$ a shot its bigger than a 500 nitro express(safari gun) The bullet weight can be between 700-800 grains (a AR-15 .223 is about 55 grains) that gun is like shooting a .50 BMG with out a muzzle brake
Those guys are idiots for not knowing what they where shooting.

They also make a .577 t-rex :D

Just for fun, I shoulder fired one of these once. Surprisingly little recoil. Probably due to the weight and muzzle brake.

x2 josh except the one I fired was bolt action single shot. they weigh ~75 lbs so felt recoil with that muzzle brake is minimal.

A few of the guys I was deployed with went to the range with some Navy guys and got to fire their bolt action 50, but it was in a soft mount on a HMMWV turret.

You know what I really want to shoot is that .338 Lupua. Some say it will make the .50 obsolete. The bolt action does recoil a bit more than a semi auto obviously.

While I too like the lapua. I think that the .416 Barrett is gonna be the next top dog. I watched a show a few weeks ago about sniper rifles and if my memory is correct the .416 has the same energy at the same yardage but with a higher velocity.

I love watching that first video every once in a while when I need a good laugh. My sides hurt everytime. Too damn funny. That last guy owned it though!
