T-case wont shift

Just curious what would cause my T case to not go into 2wd? Im guessing something happened with the shift fork but it will still go from 4hi to 4lo but no 2wd. I'm planning on tearing it out before winter, would you guys suggest swapping it or just going through it myself? I don't know if something broke inside there or if something was missed when I had it gone through last year.

Had a similar issue with mine, wouldn't shift into 4 hi....took it apart and found nothing wrong with that side of the case...but....the previous owner ran it out of fluid at some point and damaged the guts pretty good, I was stuck just replacing it....actually heard it's a little more common of a problem than I expected...(the not shifting)

Hmm scary... I know mine has always had fluid though, crappy part is I think it getting stuck in 4hi had a lot to do with my front diff grenading. Hopefully whatever happened is fixable...
