what all should i be lookin for in the t-case rebuild kit? i need to get parts ordered so i can rebuild her next week. i was lookin on ebay and found this but mainly just looking, ebay parts arent always the best stuff :D. would all this in here be about what i need? i have not been in one of these cases to know what i need, hence the post

i need to find who sells the steel ring pump rub fix too. the MA one is cool but i dont see the need to spend all that cash when the steel full circle ring ive seen before works just as good.

If I were gonna rebuild the case I would also get the output shaft tail housing bushing. These are pretty common to crap out on these t cases. I think the bushing is around $25 but will save you headache in the end! Merchant also has the bushing. www.merchant-automotive.com. Hopefully some supporting vendors will chime in on a possible kit that would also include the bushing. Good luck:thumb:

Merchants piece is only a 100 or so, the last steel piece I got from Kennedy was around 50, it may have came down a little bit

The shop that built my trans also rebuilt my t-case, they used a pump rub kit from sonnax. I had never heard of them before, but Dave swears by the sonnax kit, so i said ok to it, i figure the guy builds hundreds of transmissions a year, ill go with his opinion. Nothing was in need of repair in the t-case, so i dont have any parts ideas for ya, sorry.

Merchant sells a rebuilt/remanufactured t case as well.

for waaaaaay more than id like to pay right now :D. id much rather tear into the case myself anyhow. if it aint an automatic trans, i dont have any problems workin on it myself
