Was just curious. Will it cause any damage to the ECM long/short term if I switch from tune to tune frequently? Using the autocal with my laptop..

No, unless you make a mistake or have a com error mid tune. Is there a reason you're don't just get a DSP5 setup?

Yes dsp 5 I have. I switch it on my edge cts monitor. I just want to feel the diff. Between the 3 tune files I have.

Also is it possible to put back my fully stock file in the ECM. Meaning no efilive. Just for comparison.

Yes you can flash them a bunch of times. iv flashed mine probably 20 times in a day before making minute changes here and there going for mileage and response.

I would bet I have a couple thousand flashes since 09. 5-10 flashes in a day when I'm trying new stuff isn't uncommon for me

TX of course
Don't you have a stock tune on your DSP? Isn't going to be much difference.

I've easily flashed my truck 20-25 times in a day.

I don't know anything about a CTS but all you do is flash your stock tune over the EFI tune and your back to stock.

Bringing this tread back to life!
Today I tried to load my stock tune and it just wouldn't let me
Do it. Is there a differant way to load a stock tune
I'm trying to check my balance rates with the stock tune.

Here is a pic of what it says.
