Swapping parts trans/transfercase lb7 to lly?

Guys,

If i swap my built trans and auto transfer case case from an 01 lb7 into an 04.5 lly will there be any issue?

Change the Bell housing, valve body, internal VB harness and NSBU switch, and your good to go

I thought it was the same trans, or it is, just not the wiring harness?

So have you done this swap? Worth the time to do it for an lly?

They're the same trans, but it's not the same. There was alot of changes made through the years. The 04 will go into the 01 pretty easily, but the 01 into the 04 will take a little more work.
