It was a connection on the rear in the vee of the engine, no idea what it does,but it made a big difference!!!

All the lb7 engine harnesses are interchangeable. The only issue you’ll run into is the eop sensor and your cluster.
There might be other issues if you mix federal engines with California engines but technically they’ll still run, just have left over plug and or a cel fir stuff that is missing.

You’ll need a good scanner to check the trans codes as there is an issue there. Or at least go down and check all those connections and grounds. Then clear the codes and test drive again.
