My vains are sticking on my turbo. I was just going to pull it and send it back to fleece, or should I try and swap the control valve first? I've never pulled apart a turbo and not sure if it's worth messing with my self. Or just send it back and let them figure it out?

Most of the time under normal driving conditions they are at 100%. If I'm wide open they will stay fluctuate as well. It's like I'm pedaling the truck when it's wide open or at a steady rpm some times. No boost leaks, I've tried two different tuners tunes and I have also changed the vain position sensor once.

Have you logged desired vs actual vane position, and watched how well its tracking? LMM's have an issue with a dead pedal, stock VNT or Aftermarket. Vane position is sometimes to blame, but Ive also had to replace the solenoid itself as well. I wouldnt think the vanes would be sticking, that typically an EGR exclusive issue. Im assuming you dont have working EGR. The only other thing that would hang the vanes is if they ate something and you have a bur on one or a few. I think thats highly un-likely tho...

I talked with you about it a little while back and sent you a log and every thing looked ok. I do not have the egr. I'm just going to pull the turbo and have you guy's check it out to make sure nothing is up. The truck has not ran right since I put it on.

I had this same issue with my LBZ stock turbo. It ended up being a minor tuning issue and my tuner fixed it. Boost was increasing and decreasing about every second, on and off kindof.

I've tried tunes from 3 different tuners. Im just goingto just start putting the truck back to stock till I figure it out.

We can look it over and see if anything is wrong with it. Maybe pull the solenoid out and put it on a running truck, see if it acts up.

I have the same issue on a 07 LBZ doesn't matter what setting its on or if the rig is tuned with the stock tune. I'm thinking it is the smoke tune he is ruunning that caused it to start acting up.
