A couple weeks ago my dad got free tickets to the Super Bowl from a client at his work. I was super jealous but got over it. Now today he texted me a picture and he is sitting next to Evander Holyfield.

That would be awesome to go the Super Bowl but I would have to be rich to go. To much money for my blood.

That's what I said, it's way not worth it IMHO, it's a game, and while I'm ecstatic about the idea of the hawks taking home the win, it's not something I'd be willing to pay, eh, more than $500 bucks to see...

They have been season ticket holders for 12 years or so, and have been buying set for friends as well to be reimbursed later in the season, but regardless, they had on their name several sets of tickets, and for the Amount of tickets they had multiplied by the numbers of years they had them they had a certain amount of ballots to cast into the lottery for tickets, and they got a set. They had hoped on and bet on this circumstance for several months now, as they had airfare and the hotel pre booked before thanksgiving....

They are nuckin futz, but hey, they think I'm a loon for what I do to my truck and cars, so, eh to each his own...

Funny thing is my dad couldn't care less about football. He got the tickets for free so no way you could pass that up.

TX of course
If I got free tickets I would go just to say I had been. I really don't give a crap and have better things to do. Like right now I'm on here and my wife is watching the game.

$12.00 beer and $20.00 bowl of soup...think I'll pass.

I don't even mind that, but it taste like shit on top of that.

Ya Seahawks are going to get humiliated.
Humph...;)
worst super bowl in history.
Why? Just cause one team completely dominated the other?

nah watching the broncos creamed was great :Dfeel bad for manning though he was the only one trying
I remember the bronc's handing the hawks their azzes year after year in conference championships through the late 80's and 90's, it's bout time the hawks returned the favor
Wes Welker ran his ass off and had the only TD catch.
The other Bronco receiver was great too.

There were more than a handful of broncos giving it what they had, the broncs played one more game than the hawks, but honestly, they were just outplayed at every snap.

Love em or hate em, they finally pulled of a Super Bowl championship and I believe they deserve it, they have a TEAM, finally a real TEAM that plays professional level ball at an elite level.

You have to remember, the hawks have had a great defense for years, now they finally have an offense that can capitalize on the defensive effort, move the ball and score points.

It's a nice win for our/ my (Seattle area) community as well, as we've been a loyal troop to a less than spectacular team for years, Seattle built a stadium for a historically loosing team, so it's nice to see that pay off for the community, Seattle has been after the upper echelon of sports achievement for decades, really if you look at the "story" behind this victory for Seattle and the hawks, it's quite a "Cinderella story"

And we got the glass slipper, lol

But really, it's hard to deny the hawks their due glory right now, they played flawlessly, aggressively, physically and mentally tonight and they played well, their defense was actually beautiful to watch, they executed blocks and tackles with precision, buddy blocking and screening with an almost telepathic ability.

The broncs looked tired, plain and simple, I don't think they played their best ball tonight, and for that, as a fan, that's a bummer, but I don't think they ever had a chance to win tonight's game, period...

Our city siren wailed for 1min and fireworks went off for about 1/2 an hour, and I live 30mi from Seattle, I can only imagine what downtown looks like right now...

I also have to say, that I felt like ther was a strong respect between both teams, they were there to play, they played, and that was that, I felt like both teams played respectfully and with honor, and that's cool:thumb:
