hey guys, just got my suncoast kit today and im like a kid in a candy shopbut i have a question for you guys!! I cant afford a converter for a little bit, I decided to pay off the hospital bills from my little girl being born!!! Do you guys think i should go ahead and build it and run my stock converter for now or should i wait until i can buy a better converter? Thanks for the help guys its taking everything in my power today to not tear my tranny out and build it at work lol

lol well thank you guys looks like it will be about a month before i can come up with the cash for it but i guess thats one less time i have to pull my trans out so that should make the pill easier to swallow:thumb:

Don't mean to :beatdeadhorse: but I would also wait. Pull the trans once and re install it once. Good for you on the purchase, you can turn er up now and have some real fun!:thumb:

i turned my my ppe to five today and raced out some back roads here in rifle and the tranny didnt like it to well lol limp city til i cleared the codes but now that im gonna wait ill have to take it back to stage 2 for awhile o well itll be worth it in the long run!!! i no efi is way better but my truck runs pretty hard on stage 5 on my ppe itll be a blast when my tranny can hold it and not go in to limp mode!!!!

No need to wait.... Just in case something goes wrong(not that anything would go wrong by using stock converter) you can use it as an excuse to upgrade to a real truck and by that I mean a LBZ
