SUdden Power Supply outage on my car.

I was driving along the highway and suddenly my battery went out and the engine stop in the middle of the road? Anyone can tell me what is the problem with my battery? do i need to change it?

Chances are that the batteries were dead for a while and the alternator just had enough and gave out. Had a work truck that did the same thing it was a 02'.

That, OR... the alternator went out, and after driving for long enough, the batteries finally died.

Either way, I'd check/replace the batteries, and have the alternator tested (load tested, not just the basic test).
