Texas Y'all
Im putting on a 4088 this weekend, im gonna stud my heads too, should i stud the stock headgaskets? Or go ahead and pull the heads and put new headgaskets in and stud them? The truck has 68k on it, doesnt seem to loose coolant or pressurize the system.

Thanks
Rob

in the buckeye state
leave the heads in place and pull the head bolts. no need to break the head gasket loose..

IIRC its the drive side back that will be PITA to get the stud in..

If you gaskets seem good,I would use them:)

Make sure you TQ the studs to the correct spec;)
good wrenches will help!
