Help: stuck on the side of 24 outside of Nashville tn

So my friends halfton chevy blew the tranny line out of his radiator, and the fitting is broken. Can we just put a rubber line between the 2 lines for a while? And can the fitting in the radiator be changed?

Is only the inside of the fitting broken? is the fitting still holding the tranny cooler inside the radiator to prevent coolant from leaking out? if its still sealed and no coolant is leaking, I would use the hose for now, just watch the temp gauges!
As far I remember, the fitting is available seperate and can be changed.

The fitting broke around where the clip hold it in, we were able to hold it into the radiator with zip ties. Then it started leaking out of the steel where it was rusty and was able to put electrical tape around it. Quite nerve racking when semis are flying by shaking the truck and trailer, plus there were people shooting in the timber behind us. We had 2 bullets come way to close for comfort
