Stuck in limp mode

05 stock tranny will not come out of limp mode
208001 original tranny
tried to reset by shutting off removing key opening door starting backup
goes right back into 3rd after bang
no tuner on truck
just bought it this year and I do not know if it had been tuned before most likely had been

Have you tried disconnecting the batteries for 15 minutes or so?

Is the t case leaking yet? Any codes?

Transfer case not leaking

This happened on the way to work this morning I will not be able to get the codes till I get home
2 weeks ago same thing happened in the Bronx New York had it towed home the dealer told me the next morning everything was fine
there were
three codes
2nd gear ratio
e valve stuck
and 1 other one
I'll have to get them when I get home

Try cycling the key 3 times. Shut the truck off turn it to run then back off. Do that three or four times in a row. Then try driving.

777 pressure solenoid b controlled clutch stuck on

You may have multiple problems. Transfer case and valve body drain back.
