I was returning from Montana fishing trip when I started to pass slower traffic. When I got along side them I stepped on the gas to shift down just as they spread up so I let up on the gas and pulled back behind. I tried to speed back up but couldn't get back up to 65 mph. At 2000 rpms the engine started cutting out. And I couldn't get up to 65 maps going up the hill. Any ideas?

Fuel problem. I'm guessing you have a collapsed flex fuel line on the Ds of your trans that vacuums shut. If you don't have a helper left pump, and gets the fuel warm from towing etc it can suck in. Or change your fuel filter. Go easy on it for a part throttle shift instead of wot and it will shift under 2000 to get you into a higher gear for now.
