strongest block

ive been trying to do some reasearch but cant come up with a solid answer i will be hopefully starting my engine build soon for the race truck and was wondering what duramax block is the strongest i have an lly engine now and was curious if my lly crank would fint in say an lml block any info is appriciated

The lbz and lmm has more webbing than the lly or lb7 bit I dont think it gonna matter than much if you go with a lbz block not everything from lly will fit

The lbz has difderent timing covers, waterpump holes and a few other small things I believe

So far I don't think I have ever even heard of a dmax cracking the block from too much power other than if it throws a rod. I personally wouldnt sweat it.

Just get the block machined and you should be good to go.

I thought James said he cracked a cylinder in their blue race truck (custom auto) and had to get it sleeved.
