Where do y'all buy hitch pins? Everything I've used ends up bending like crazy... I've even used used a grade 8 5/8 bolt. Not threaded with a nut tight but as a pin. I know they make crazy strong bolts that run like 75 bucks a piece from fastenal or somewhere like that. Is that my only option besides replacing them every 5 hooks or so? Does someone actually make a pin worth the price? Thanks

Why do you change them after they bend? They break or hard to get out? I've been running bent pins in my adjustable hitch for years and have never broke 1. Mine have big handles on them so I can twist and pull them out easily. My pins are spread 6-7" apart though so I think that might add a little more strength to them.

I've always tightened the nut(nylock) on the grade 8, 5/8" fine thread bolt. That way it can't move around. Maybe that would help.

You can get grade 10 or 12 from McMaster Carr. Or you nay be able to use grade12.2 metric bolts in 16 mm for 5/8" and 19 mm for 3/4".
