Okay shortly after my trans build I'm looking to get a level 3 Wicked, or the comparable Floor it pump to make up for my weak pump (holding about 18,000 on the big tune). This is a stock LBZ bottom end with the factory sticks.
Looking for how to tune the pump.
Would I just rescale the demanded PSI to something practical like 26k, or would I need to adjust more stuff than that?
I have heard that stock injecter bodies in the Cummins are cracking at only 27k, granted they are different but both being Bosch is that something I need to worry about if I wanted that much pressure?
Also the higher the pressure that the fuel is injected the more pressure I'll get in the cylinders, correct? So being a stock long block is there any way to tell how much is too much. With out burning through the piston?
I guess what I'm looking for is what is the normal for max effort with being somewhat reliable?
After the cp3 I'm thinking of 45 or 60 overs when the funds allow FYI but idk how long that will take so I'd like to get some opinions on it
Thanks fellas
