strange valve sound

New to this truck but went to the bank and when up near the building wall I hear this valve ticking sound. Is that normal. i can get out and here it from the driver side outside near the wheel. Just not wanting to end up with someones problem. Just got it.

the typical "typewriter sound" GM tells us that is 100% normal

And they say it is more noticable right after an oil change... and will slowly die off until the next change

Dealer said they changed the oil so I guess they did what they said. Was worried but if you think it is normal that is great.

LOL the purpose for using quotations in this particular situation is because that is the name the consensus has given the ticking sound made on our driver side... hence the "typewriter sound"...

It dosn't hurt anything, but i think GM can't figure out why they make that sound so they don't worry about diagnosing it

OK so nothing to worry about? I guess if a problem GM would need more than a bail out to fix. LOL!!! Sorry if that is wrong to say here.
