Stock vs modded

Thats the question. I'm looking at a newer truck and wondered if it's worth going back to stock or selling it as. Stock private party is 26k...with about 13k in mods/extras I'd be asking a little more just wanted opinions.

That stock private value has to be regionally based? An 05 can be had all day for $20K.

In general though, it seems folks might do better selling goodies separate & stock truck.

But if you go completely stock then it won't stand out from the other trucks on the market. I think there is an in between to shoot for. Leaving on the things that stands out to everyday ppl like rims and tires helps IMO. Most everyday people only care about looks not performance.

Remove performance parts, save for perhaps intake and exhaust. Many people tend to shy away from a truck that looks as if it has or has had alot of performance items installed. As for the cosmetic upgrades, these dont generally seem to make much of a difference, at least not in this area.

Good points so far guys...had a really really good offer at one dealership just couldn't swing the payments on a brand new one at the time

Also in Californina everything is illegal so you would be better parting out the performance parts
