I was wondering how high you can rev an LMM engine with the stock turbo. How high can you run it and not feel like you are going to murder your engine?
I think stock limits it around 3250 and the tune I am using now goes up to about 34-3500. Any thoughts?

The factory Garrett can take alot of abuse. It's main limit is sustained high EGT's or boost over 45psig.

SO the turbo can handle it up to 45psig, does the engine handle that same amount of boost or does it become inefficient or dangerous over a certain boost pressure? What RPM can you run the engine up to?

Engine RPM wont hurt a VVT. It wont boost over the comanded amount no matter the RPM. I think I've heard 32 psi is the sweet spot for the factory turbo, after that it's out of its efficiency range. I've got a boost controller on my truck and a factory trubo, I've seen 40+ psi and my truck seems to perform best in the low 30s.
