hey guys i am planning my own twin build. i'll be honest and say i do not know much about compound setups other than how they work. but i like to learn with my hands. a family friend is going to help me with all the plumbing and fabricating. what i need is a list of parts (other than the turbo and plumbing) that i will need to order. for example oil lines and different fittings, etc. any help and/or advice is much appreciated. thanks

There should be some thread with that info. If not here try DP. Also you could buy those fitting and hose ect from someone on here rather then piece it together. Might be more but at least u will know it will work.

My main advice is to take your time, there should be no rush to getting it done. The more time you take the better it will turn out. as far as extra parts you'll prolly need flanges that can be picked up from some venders on here I beleive, if not racepartsolutions.com is a good place as well as columbia River http://www.mandrel-bends.com for tubing. Also search on here for about a week and read all the twin threads you can, you'll get a ton of ideas. Good luck:thumb:

Yea once you get the turbo mounted it all kind of falls into place, but be patient and it will work. If I remember right I redid my downpipe a couple times till I had it to were it looked decent, as well as the the hot pipe.

how did you do your hotpipe? i've never seen the back of the stock IHI so idk how i could do it other than the way mentioned in the thread posted above. but i dont like the looks of that. is there a v band on the back of the stocker? or do you have to use something with that bolt pattern?

you have to use that bolt pattern due to the wastegate. after you make the bend towards the other charger (at the firewall) you can add a v-band.
