I got an 09 LMM and took the Dpf off and put a tune in it this summer and I was seeing a boost spike a 37 and dropping off to about 34-35 at wot. Now lately when I get on it i am seeing a boost spike at 29 and dropping off to 25 at wot. I am trying to figure out what happened that would cause this. Do I have a boost leak or a leak in an exhaust manifold or up pipe? Or is my turbo taking a shit on me? I haven't had time to try and figure out the problem so I figure I would ask on here to figure out where to start looking.

What tunes/tunning are you running? program any other tunes in it since you last saw the higher boost?

How are you monitoring boost? There should be no reason for that tune to call for 37lbs of boost on a stock turbo.

Have you talked to your tuner about it? Seems there is something not right with the tune.

Some other thoughts: hole in your boost line losing pressure somewhere, dirty fuel filter.

Have you changed your fuel filter. I would do that first to rule it out. I doubt its in your tuning if it was runing fine before with the same tune. Just a shot in the dark, but check your air filter also and inspect your boost tube boots for rips, they can be small and open up under boost.

I ll check the boots. I haven had time lately with farming and finishing up school. But the truck only has 8000 miles on it so I wouldn't think it is the filters but Ill take a look.

Remote

I have a 09 GMC and it seems to have a mind of its own , what I mean is Its cold here about 15 degrees here last night and the night before. anyway I make sure when I shut off the truck at night I leave the heater on full blast so the next morning when I remote start it I want it to start warming right away, also have plugged in overnight. but when I go out to check it, or to go the heater is not running but the seat heaters are on which I did not turn the seat warmers on the night before??? Then other times it seems to work the way I want it to but it has not been that cold i the past.. It almost seems like the truck has a sensor built in to determine how cold it is and maybe telling the heater fans not to come on until it reaches a certin temp so it does not sit there and blow cold air ..Make sense or is this possible?? Thanks:eek:
