Stock LLY baseline dyno

I just got my 04.5 LLY truck on saturday and already have parts on the way but i wanted to dyno in stock form before i started modding it

here are the dyno results, how do they look?

266,000kms (165,000mi) drivetrain, allison 5spd, 265-75-16 tires

everything is stock, except a hole is cut in the lower half of the airbox and I did the pcv re-route.

First time on the dyno, my LLY did 235/441..... with Edge Attitude on stock settting and 4" exhaust no cat. It was a Mustang dyno at 4300' elevation, no correction factor.

I wish that I had gotten a base line on mine when stock. I just put mine on the dyno for the first time this weekend. My LLY is all stock except for the Edge w/Attitude. I put it on level 5 for the dyno and it made 430 hp / 818 Tq

man I ran mine a couple months ago on a junk dynojet. ran it with PPE on level 10, 4" intake, rdl turbo inlet, manifolds/up pipes, 4" down pipe, 4" exhaust, 150 gph lift pump, and a built trans. put down only 414hp 777tq. it only pushed about 21psi of boost because it was an inertia dyno

I went to L&N dyno days a few years back and watched some guys with basically stock trucks do some crazy stuff. They were passing around a PPE Hot ET+2 and the first one to go set his on the highest tune. the 425hp over stock I believe it was. truck smoked like a freight train but only put out 380 some hp. I suggested to the next guy to back it down a few settings and when he got his pulls, the best he got was 447 I believe it was. pretty much the same trucks, same tuner on Dunn bars dyno. some times less is more unless you have the hard parts to back it up.

Average for a stock LLY is ~240rwhp.

Mine made 250HP on the nose. 37's, 4:88 gears, K&N intake and 4" straight pipe.

I wish I would have done a stock dyno. The last time I put it on a dyno it made 360hp / 660tq at that lever it didn't limp the tranny sense then I done a little tweaking and now it limps the trans I need to put it on the dyno so I can see what its making now..
