came from my 03.
as you can see in the history tab, all I did was raise upshifts to 3600rpm at the time when I used a stock TCM, tune. you can just lower them back to stock 3200rpm.

You will need to send the file to your tuner for setup with remote flashing.
The 03-04 LB7 TCM tune file will still give stock function of tow/haul and OD/LO via the tow/haul button, and shut off the check engine light for no G solenoid. The 01 OS is still the prefferred OS by many for a 5 speed, and can be found here(you will lose OD/LO via the tow/haul button with it though, and also it should be noted the 4-5 shift in tow/haul mode is 5MPH higher than the 02-04 TCM files). http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59324
Thanks for all the help! I decided to give GM dealer a try. I brought them my truck and a VIN number from a 2003 truck. When asked for the VIN the tech entered the 2003 vin. Worked fine and check engine light is gone. Plus it didn't cost me anything because the tech didn't think it was possible(he didn't even write up a ticket!). So I learned a few things, hopefully useful info for the community, and I madecided a really great contact (local gm diesel tech)!
