ok i'm thinking about changing my setup on my tahoe. this is non durmax though.

what i want to know is; if the stock dmax airbox/filter is good to 500hp, then could two support 900-1000whp?

i'm thinking about building a 363 stroker motor from my 5.3 and going twin turbo vise the dmax swap. goal is 900-1000whp on high boost. being that each turbo will need its own intake i was looking at useing two stock dmax airboxes with ac delco fliters. reason being is to help filter the dirt sand and salt better than the oil type filter. i get dust looking stuff on my turbo compressor side when i take off the filter now. i tried to find the write up on the test of the stock air box but i have no clue where to find it at.

other question is what is the airflow through that filter on a diesel at 500hp vs air flow on a gas motor at the same hp. my guess is it wold be very similar just at lower rpm. being that i'm not sure of it i thought i would ask.

yeah, i don't come around too often. depends on what i'm thinking up from week to week on deployment.

but i still like the idea of twin turbo and twin airboxes. i hate seeing all that dirt on my turbo.

i still want to do the dmax swap but i didn't go where i thought i was going for deployment. wound up in the desert making shit for money out here.

Well the Dmax how might be in for the win. When comparing pro do the gas burner I want to do I can do the Dmax with just a little more. And get more mileage to boot.
