LLY: Stereo upgrade

Sandy needs an upgrade to her entertainment center (radio). Anybody have experience wiring aftermarket radio into 2004 Silverado?

Most have a install adapter harness, plugs in like factory.

^^^ all of that, they have modules that plug in to retain steering wheel controls, crutchfield has all the stuff you will need.

Also, get a good quality dash it, I had a cheaper one with a double din stereo, kit broke and the stereo was lop sided and flopping around in there.

Just dont cut the factory harness, should be no reason for it.
