LB7: Stereo is gone

I aquired a 03 lb7 and the head unit is missing. My question is that with this missing could that be the reason the truck starts and then dies after 2 seconds. I cant rememeber how they are tied into the security system. If so is there anyway to bypass it? thanks

Sounds like the security is shuting the truck down.Could try to reset the security on the truck.

How would you reset the system?? Im in kuwait and have like no resources available..

there is absolutely no way an unplugged radio is preventing the truck from starting!!!

you have another problem somewhere else.

I wasnt for sure... have heard that from other people because of the security system... Anyone know where else to look
