Stereo controls for steering wheel

2014 chevy duramax 6.6 lt model. Want to add stereo control on steerimg wheel but not sure about the wiring. Wether is installed for good ope plug and play or not. Any suggestions... ty

I did it in a previous car. Had to reprogram the head unit but after that it worked just fine. The clock spring had everything there to make it run. Mopar I know for sure doesn't build them all the same but I think GM might. If not you will have a lot of work cut out for you.

From what I have heard, the clock springs are different, and you need to install the upgraded clockspring. The main problem, IIRC, isn't that it is difficult (it is fairly straightforward), but that it is expensive.

But this is for the older trucks. They may have changed things up on the '11+.
