Help: Steering wheel controls stopped working...

The steering wheel controls quit working on my 03, the volume control and seek funtion works but none of the other ones work.

Is it my cluster going out? It is a newer cluster since my factory unit went out. I would like to get these working again

Could be the buttons in the wheel or broken wires,probably have to figure out which wires coming down the column and make sure you have continuity on those wires the switches come out easy enough.

Got some extra wheel controls, should pull the old ones this weekend, my old button are worn out anyway. I will check cont..

I just thought I had read somwhere that a cluster could cause issues??

Did it happen after you replaced the cluster? Cluster will need to be programmed in that case.

Honestly I dont know the truck has been on the road for the last 240K miles and I rarely saw it and when I used I never messed with anything.

Broken clock spring is what it was. I never got around to fixing the other truck i sold with the same issue
