Yesterday pulled my fifth wheel then went and fuel up gat home and shut the truck down. Came back out after a while and went to start the truck it would turn over then run for a couple of seconds then sut down. Tried starting about five times, same thing. Got mad went and primed the truck still would not start. Unscrewed the screw beside the primer, deisel shot out, went back to the truck this time all gaiges lit up and truck started. Any Ideas what was wrong like maybe possible air lock?. Just don't want it to happen again.

I had to fix the same problem on an 05 a couple of days ago. Turns out the WIF sensor was cracked and letting it lose prime. You could prime it, and it would run. Problem was if it sat for long, it would lose prime again. I'd suggest you leave the bleed screw closed and pump the hand pump on the filter housing until it gets firm. Look to see if you see any fuel dripping or running out anywhere while doing that.
