Starting issue

I have a 2007.5 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax. Last night I was driving home and the PassLock light(car with a padlock) came on on the dash. Truck ran fine all of the way home and I didn't think much of it, I went to start the truck this morning and all of the dash lights came on, radio came on etc., but the truck doesn't try to crank at all. I checked the DTC's on the programmer and the only codes that came up were for glow plugs and 1 code for a barake light switch. I cleared all of the codes and the truck still refuses to crank over and the Passlock light stays on, it does not flash like some other cases I have read. I have also read that usually the truck starts for 2 seconds and then shuts off. Mine refuses to even attempt ti start. I have already tried the pass lock reset procedure twice with no success. I have looked up how to bypass it but have only found info on older trucks. Please give me any input that you have, I need this truck for work tomorrow.

Please Help! NEED THIS TRUCK FOR WORK TOMORROW! Worked on it all day. I forgot to mention that before the whole issue started I tried to remote start the truck (factory remote start, no aftermarket alarm). the truck started and ran for 2-3seconds and shut off.. Please help

took it to the dealer and they got it going. They reset it with a tech II, hopefully it doesn't happen again. I still think it would be good for someone to reply with a DIY fix for anyone else who runs into this problem. please add to the thread.
