a couple days ago after running fine all day my truck would not start. just turned over like there was no fuel. finally got it to start and has been fine ever since. the only code in it was U1024 (pcm lost communication with the tcm)
has any one dealt with this before and would it have caused the no start. any info would be appreciated.
thanks in advance

You'll have to do more trouble shooting to figure it out. Sounds like maybe you lost prime. Next time it does it pump the plunger on the fuel filter housing see if it starts up.

Do you have a lift pump? If so maybe it caught a air pocket or something. Hard to tell just guessing here

that is what i figured, stupid plastic fuel filters . i did pump the plunger, was a little soft but not that bad. that is when it started. that code is what i don't get. could cranking the engine over so much with out it starting trip it? i pulled the code before it started.
