Well i have took my exhuast off for the last time today. Im sick of it not fitting the way i want it too. Plus i had to take the rear part off to re-install the reese hitch. So i was wanting some opinions and options.
What do you guys think?
A single flat cut?
Miter cut?
Were at in the bed do you guys think looks best?
And what size? 5" or 6"

EEC, I have been thinking the same thing. I like the looks of a single in the middle but i'm not sure if I can handle all the soot all over my truck.:(

The soot would bug the shit out of me if my truck was white...I think the hole in the bed is going to be the killer

the soot is bad on a white truck, can tell you that. you wil never keep your truck clean. But leaving the line and throwing a 20 ft smoke stream in the air makes it all worth it

100_0059_edited.jpg These are the stacks I have on my d-max :D Single 5" pipe coming up into the bed off to the passenger side because of the driveshaft. Then branching off into dual 6" mitre cut stacks that end about 3" above the roof at the highest point of mitre cut. I used 2"x8"x.25" box tubing for the stacks to mount on then welded angle on the 2 open ends to seal up the box tubing. I also decided to go with the closer drag race looking stack setup cant stand the stacks that go all the way out to the side of the bed or the big longhorn looking 45* degree angle ones

CRAAAZY, i love 6" mitre cut stacks, single or double
A 7" Mitre cut would be real Craazy.

Mopower05 (Mike) has a 7 on his Dodge look's great. The bigger you go the louder they get.

My advice is that the VVT's can run a straight exhaust stack and still carry on a conversation in the truck. The LB7's will not like the noise. It's just craazy loud.

Double Stacks next to each other at the front of the box in the middle, as big as you can get. Mitre cut. 6" below the roof line. FLAT BLACK!! No Chrome!

6" mitre, sticking about 5" out of the hood just forward of where the fuel filter is. It could be possible, look at how most plumb twins. Just something to think about.

or, 6" mitre with the tip right at cab height, straight up or pax side doesn't matter. As long as you keep a bunch of ear plugs in the center console. ;)
