Ok lets see how creative yall are :woott:. The clutch pedal in my truck squeaks some when I push it in and gets worse when I let it out. I've tried silicone spray on the pivot points. It helped slightly but only for a day or 2. Anybody got any suggestions? I don't know what the bushing material is for the pivot points but from the sounds of it I'd say some type of rubber or plastic

Its the plastic bushing in the back of the clutch pedal that goes over the clutch master cylinder rod thats squeaking. I bought a new one from the gm dealer(ill find the part # if you want it) and they now make it out of a different material that squeaks way less. White lithium grease helps but dont use wd 40

Ill have to get the number when i get home, im out of town right now. Its not hard at all to replace but it makes it super easy if you have somebody help you. Just grab the clutch master and turn it about 1/3 of a turn and pull it out, replace the plastic bushing (it may stick in the pedal so you might have to pry it out) and then get somebody to guide the rod into the back of the pedal while you put the master back in the fire wall.

Some of them are dick heads and they try to say you have to buy the whole pedal or the master but you dont. I believe i have the receipt for the last one i bought in my console, i keep a spare cause i tend to be rough on the pedal when racing and break them. If youre in a calling mood just call my dealer and they will give you the number 8172951102

I got it I believe, called a dealership about an hour north of me who's always more helpful. He gave me part # 12473050 and told me it'd be $22.73 plus tax :thumb:
